The property was surrounded by beautiful grounds, and the leaves were just beginning to change colour when I first visited. So I used the palette of botanical greens, golden neutrals and pops of deep red to create a sense of the outside being inside. I used botanical images in my selection of art and accent accessories to complete the look.
As this design was for a show home, it is always important to clearly signpost which room is the master. The headboard tends to be a little grander in the master, so I designed a large upholstered headboard to create a real statement as you enter. We also created some bespoke artwork, off setting the print from the centre of the mount is a great way to add some designer detail.
