Another year has whizzed by. With warm memories of a wonderful summer we now look forward to that time of year we enjoy precious time with friends and family. And for a lucky some at least, valuable quiescence, a lull in the hectic pace of modern life.
It’s a time to be together. We can focus on our plans. It’s a rare opportunity to prioritise matters for the New Year and set goals, personal, professional and financial for the upcoming 12 months. No matter that some/many are not accomplished, it’s cathartic to have written them down and aspire.
Let 2019 be the year to care for your castle. Our homes are a reflection of ourselves, where cherished memories are created. Where we eat, sleep, relax and often work, so shouldn’t we give our abode the tender, loving care that it deserves this New Year?
Have fun over the festive break discussing and planning, perhaps finally pushing on with that long over due refurbishment of the tired kitchen or bathroom. Plan which rooms you would love to transform….. as the children have flown the nest don’t leave those now empty bedrooms as storage rooms for next year’s Christmas crackers and decorations! Take action instead, give them a boutique hotel style makeover and be proud to invite guests to stay again.
