Our clients wanted to keep their existing shower which was chrome, so this formed the basis of the brassware in the room. But we wanted to add a contrasting feature to give that bespoke feel, so we teamed it with Matt Black to provide a bold alternative to the chrome. We introduced black to the mirror frames, lighting and accessories to add those bold touches around the room.
All the surfaces in a bathroom are naturally hard and rather cold in nature, not exactly what you associate with being warm and cosy! Adding warmth through colour and texture softens the overall feel and creates somewhere you want to relax and unwind after a long day. For this room, we added warm peach tones to the walls which worked so well with the strong blue tiles. Using a fabric blind with a small pattern also adds warmth and texture. Towels are also a great way to add a contrasting tone or pop of colour.
