Our client’s had recently moved into a new home and didn’t know where to start with their living room. They had many books that they wanted to be easily accessible, and a place for all their children’s toys to hide away when not in use. They wanted to maximise the seating and make sure the living room felt cosy and relaxed. They liked the idea of natural tones and finishes so we used some rattan accents to reflect this.
Budget: c. £14,000
We designed a bespoke shelving to fill the back wall of the living room, adding four rows of shelving and cupboards below – a perfect place to hide any items not needing to be on show! We also commissioned a large bespoke storage footstool centred in the middle of the room, perfect to easily access toys etc and provide somewhere to put your feet up in the evening.
We really enjoyed working on this project, it was great to see the designs comes to life and address all the issues the clients wanted solutions for. We created a relaxing room, perfect for family life, combining our client’s love of colour and natural finishes. We even provided our expertise in helping our clients fill their shelves with styling tips to add extra interest as you walked into the room. Adding beautiful accessories, including amber coloured glass vases really made the unit pop.
