The tea bar was in need of some love and attention. The furniture had seen better days, and the kitchen had reached the end of it’s life. We were asked to bring some life back to the room – and in particular make it a much more inviting place to take a break.
Of particular importance was the temperature in the room – all the heat was escaping up out of the roof. The seating was uncomfortable and there was no where to eat lunch.
The team wanted a coffee shop feel that you would find on the High Street.
” I honestly can’t thank you and your fantastic team enough. Special mention to Rosanna, who has simply been amazing. All the contractors that carried out works here were extremely professional and are a credit to JT Interiors. I’ve had a very good response following the unveiling. They all couldn’t believe the transformation. I hope to work with you all again in the future “

We took our clients project brief and explored at how we could feed through the industrial feel. The current brick walls which had many layers of paint were a feature in the room, so we made use of them by exposing one (removing many years’ worth of paint!) It added a sense of warmth to the space too. The existing radiators were in perfect condition and were giving a new look by using a contrasting dark colour. We selected accessories and furniture throughout which added to the industrial feel incorporating pipework, and gold/copper accents.
We loved seeing how the space changed week upon week, from the paint going on the walls, through to the new false ceiling being fitted. Each week the space felt more inviting, and it was great to see the transformation! Installation day is always rewarding when you can install all the chosen furniture and accessories – seeing the space transform is what we love!
